Lucas Grymonprez

Lucas serves as the president of Trackside Solutions; he started his Trackside career in the Spring of 2018 as the Director of Business Development. Lucas attended Clarke University double majoring in Finance and Business Administration.  Early in the Spring of 2022 Lucas was named Trackside Solutions President.

Outside of work Lucas stays busy with his wife, 3 sons, and golden retriever, Oakley. Lucas loves being an active member in the Jesup community & you can always find him outdoors whether it’s fishing, hunting or playing with his boys.

Engineering & Field Operations Manager – East Moline, IL

Jacob Schmidt

Jake grew up on a dairy farm in Bangor, Wisconsin, and attended UW-Platteville. In 2013 started his internship with Trackside Solutions and then came on full time in 2014 after graduation. 

Jake’s focus is working with customers to help them with the challenges they face and fulfill their requirements by developing custom solutions tailored to their unique needs and business strategies. He is also involved with Recruitment, Customer Relations, Project management and general business operations. 

Jake always tries to help his family on the farm when he can. He enjoy going hunting, snowmobiling, and spending time outdoors.

Office Manager – East Moline, IL

Kimberly Wallace

Kimberly is the office manager at Trackside Solutions.  She is responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, office staff supervision and task delegation.  She also oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable and general human resource responsibilities.  Kimberly is a graduate of University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s in business administration and certificate in Project Management.

In her role, Kimberly works closely with our customers as well as our staff to learn ways to streamline and creating efficiencies within the company by learning as many facets as possible.  Then with this information, creates ways to improve procedures and communication between departments.

Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys golfing, spending time with friends and family and attending concerts.  She also enjoys taking long weekend trips.

Office Coordinator – East Moline, IL

KayLee Long

KayLee is the Office Coordinator at Trackside Solutions. She has 5 years of accounting experience along with 10 years of administrative support. She is responsible for processing accounts payable, payroll, general office tasks and communications along with facilitating & implementing administrative procedures.

In her role, KayLee works closely with our customers and staff to learn how to provide excellent support and to create effective procedures & protocols to insure efficiency.

Outside of work, KayLee enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with her friends & family.

Marketing & Travel Coordinator – Waterloo, IA

Maggie Weiss

Maggie is our Marketing and Travel Coordinator working out of our Waterloo Shop location.  She moved to Cedar Falls, IA from Des Moines, IA to attend college at the University of Northern Iowa. After college Maggie worked at a local real estate company as the office administrator, where she got  to work in marketing.

Since starting in February 2021, Maggie runs all Trackside Solutions’ social media accounts, career fairs, our recruiting program, company website and acts as an office coordinator for the Waterloo shop. She also keeps everyone in style by ordering all Trackside Solutions apparel and gear.

When Maggie is out of the office you can find her spending time with her husband, two daughters, and black lab, Jack. Maggie likes to travel, cook and watch sports, especially college basketball.

Augusta Shop Manager – Augusta, GA

Austin Rachels

Austin has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Southern University, with a background in mechanical design and repair.

At Trackside, Austin manages the relationships with current and new customers, assist customers in resolving manufacturing issues, and leads a team of highly skilled repair technicians.

Outside of Trackside, he spend most of his time at the lake fishing, or in the woods hunting.

Horicon Shop Manager – Horicon, WI

Erik Gommel

Erik grew up on a farm in Malta, IL.  Raised cattle and sheep for 4-H and showed animals for 6 years.  Studied at Iowa State University majoring in Agriculture Systems Technology and Industrial Technology.  He had the pleasure of working in several sectors of the Ag industry including: sales/marketing, production, chemical/fertilizer application, and equipment service. 

Erik is responsible for managing daily operations of the Horicon, WI shop and act as the contact for our customers in the state of Wisconsin.  Although our location is the most recent addition to the company in 2018, we continue to aggressively grow our customer base statewide and expand our influence within the manufacturing industry here.

When he get time he continues to travel home on the weekends and operate equipment for his family’s farm during planting and harvest seasons.  Erik enjoys working on antique farm equipment and going to auctions and farm shows.  Between his grandfather and him, they have 4 restored Farmall tractors that they drive in local parades.  Erik also loves the outdoors and spending time with my family exploring all the natural wonders that Wisconsin has to offer.

Waterloo Shop Manager – Waterloo, IA

Lane Marlow

Lane’s role at Trackside is to oversee the work coming in and going out of the Waterloo location. In addition, he gets his hands dirty while working with all different types of equipment such as combines, tractors, sprayers, etc. Lane is a graduate of Iowa State University where he got a degree in Agriculture Systems and Technology with a focus in power machinery.

Day to day, Lane communicates with numerous customers across many different companies as well keeping close connections with his coworkers throughout the entire company. One of his main goals at Trackside is keeping a healthy relationship with the employees at the Waterloo shop while ensuring a productive environment.

Beyond work, Lane enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family. He is also entertained by hunting and motorsports, such as truck and tractor pulling, where he has been involved for many years. Lastly, Lane loves coming up with creative ideas and attempting to bring them to the real world.

East Moline Shop Manager – East Moline, IL

Aftermarket Division Manager – East Moline

Ben Link

 After spending a couple of years at our Augusta, Georgia facility, Ben moved up to the East Moline shop to manage our Aftermarket Division.  This division covers repairs for all types of equipment with a focus on Aerial Work Platforms. He’s a graduate of Iowa State University with degrees in Agriculture Systems Technology and Industrial Systems Technology.

 In his position, Ben works with our technicians and customers to complete equipment repairs and diagnostics.  This is done by scheduling and managing repairs, creating parts list and estimates, ordering parts, and assisting our technicians complete the repairs.  He keeps a strong focus on customer service and repair quality to keep equipment downtime to a minimum, all while doing so in a safe and efficient work environment.

 When Ben isn’t at work, he spends time working on and enjoying antique farm equipment and vehicles, and spending time with his friends and family.

Testing Division Manager – East Moline, IL

Ethan Ellinghuysen

Grew up surrounded by agriculture in southeast Minnesota and graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Engineering.

Ethan manages all our testing projects, from small components on custom designed and built test stands to accelerated endurance and durability testing on full machines and everything in between.

Ethan enjoys hanging out with friends and family and spending time outdoors.

Fabrication Division Manager – East Moline, IL

A graduate from Iowa State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.

Will’s role is to manage the fabrication side of Trackside Solutions. He works closely with customers to make their ideas a reality. He works with Creo and other engineering software that assist with the design process and capture just what the customer is looking for.

Outside of work Will enjoys many outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.
